Why is PET needed?

Positron Emission Tomography (PET) is a powerful diagnostic tool that, in many cases, renders answers that no other imaging modality can provide. This non-invasive procedure helps physicians in their diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases.

Some of the more common areas in which PET technology is valuable include;

Oncology, Neurology and Cardiology.
